Our Services

Eskasoni Transit provides accessible transportation anywhere in Eskasoni and connects to 5 designated stops within the Sydney area. All services must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Door-to-Door
Our door-to-door service is for in-community transportation only and must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance. A driver will pick you up at your door in a 9-passenger wheelchair accessible van and take you where you need to go, whether it be an appointment, a shopping trip, a visit or are looking to get to your designated stop.

Scheduled Fixed-Route
We offer a scheduled fixed-route service with designated stops between Eskasoni and communities within CBRM. Our fixed-route service operates on a pre-book basis and all bookings must be completed at least 24 hours before your ride. A driver will stop at the designated bus stops throughout Eskasoni to pick-up/drop-off riders on a 20-passenger accessible bus. This will connect you to other places of interest outside of Eskasoni and is scheduled to make stops within Eskasoni, Sydney and Membertou. It is your responsibility to be waiting at these stops within the scheduled time.

Eskasoni Transit Service is open to the public and available to all but is primarily for use by the residents of Eskasoni.

To book a ride call our dispatch at 902.379.3488.  All rides must be booked 24 hours ahead please call by 2:30pm at least one day before you wish to use our service for a ride. Please contact the ETS office for further information, to book and pricing. We request clients let us know at booking should they require special assistance as our fleet are equipped with wheelchair accessible rides.

Both services are pre-booked and require at least 24 hours’ notice in advance. All requests must come through the office by phone or email; requests cannot be made to drivers directly to ensure route-planning remains on schedule.  We also require payments to be made in advance of riding.

Please note we need at least 24 hours advance notice for booking.
You can book your ride the day before or up to 2 weeks in advance. The sooner you book a trip, then you are more likely to secure your seat as we have more time we have to accommodate your request. If emailing your request, please note that your booking is not confirmed until we contact you back.
